Gala Day Tickets - On Your Marks....

To attend an author sessions you need a ticket. Tickets are limited to 2 author sessions per visitor. You need to book in advance to be certain of seeing your favourite author. A small number of tickets will be available on the day. Children under 8 must be accompanied into a session by a responsible adult.

Tickets are available by post only on a first come, first served basis from Monday October 16th 2006.

The venue is accessible to wheelchair users.
Hot and cold refreshments will be available. Packed lunch rooms will be available.

Free car parking is available at the venue. Coach drop off is available with coach parking at Hartlepool Marina.

A free bus shuttle service will operate throughout the day for Gala Day visitors.

Timetable:
Hartlepool railway station at 20 minutes past the hour
Marks and Spencer car park at 30 minutes past the hour
Arrive venue 45 minutes past hour
Leave venue 50 minutes past hour
Maritime experience 05 past hour
Railway station 10 past hour.
(Lunch break 12.45 to 1.50)

Gala Day - Family Fun

Visit the biggest children’s bookshop in Hartlepool ever and have your purchases signed by the author.

Younger brothers and sisters can visit our Early Years Rooms throughout the day for stories, soft play and crafts.

Baby feeding and changing areas will be available throughout the day.

Children’s reporters will be interviewing throughout the day for broadcast on BBC Radio7 and Radio 4.
