Julia Jarman

After studying English and Drama at Manchester University, Julia Jarman became a teacher. Her three children encouraged her to write for them, "about real characters like us" The girls asked for "lots of scary bits". Her three cats were also an influence and inspired her Time Travelling Cat series.

Julia has been writing for over fifteen years. She has written ten novels and over seventy shorter books,
