'Bob Hartman is to storytelling what David Beckham is to football. Give him a story and no one can bend it like him!'

Bob Hartman is a performance storyteller par excellence. He has been entertaining audiences on both sides of the Atlantic for over 12 years with his books and performances, which bring together retellings of traditional and folk tales from around the world with his own imaginative stories. His books are full of humour and insight, whilst his storytelling sessions are exciting, engaging, dynamic - and above all, interactive!

'I find that crawling into a text, asking questions and then coming out the other side, is the best way to discover what it's all about - to be surprised, challenged, moved and won over', says Bob about his work. Bob loves to help children (and adults!) explore, become involved with and get the most out of stories. He visits schools, bookshops and major festivals throughout the UK, sharing his creations and imparting some of his wisdom for those wanting to improve their own storytelling skills.
